Cheese locations in the US only. The ride is not for sale in the UK and was not made for general sale in the US. The ride began production in 1994 and has gone through several different designs over the years.

The ride resembles an old classic car that's painted red with yellow wheels on a blue photo base. Cool Chuck E. sits in the car while another seat is open for a child to sit in. The headlights flash on the front, and there is a camera on the front of the ride with the text "Take '5' with Chuck E." On the dashboard, there are five character buttons on the right side, but no start button.

After inserting a credit, the ride begins with a back-and-forth rocking motion. The car plays an audio track throughout the ride. The five character buttons play character quotes when pushed.
