In the first episode of the Sam & Max game series, Sam and Max: Save the World, the player must find Swiss cheese to give to Jimmy Two-Teeth, a rat who has stolen their phone and is demanding Swiss cheese as ransom. In the game Sam & Max: Save the World, your first task is to find some Swiss Cheese for Jimmy Two-Teeth, a rat who stole your phone and wants some Swiss cheese as ransom.
To find the Swiss cheese, you must first explore the office and experiment with everything. Pick up the boxing glove from the windowsill and the bowling ball from the floor on the right. Then, open the cupboard door on the right, where you will find lots of cheese, but it's not Swiss cheese.
To turn the regular cheese into Swiss cheese, you need to use the Big Gun from your inventory. Here's how you can do it:

Click on Sam's dialogue and ask about the headache, and Jimmy will reveal his fear of heights. Back with Max, it's time to hang him out to dry. Head out the door and onto the street.
Go to the right past Specs and enter Bosco's Inconvenience. After being informed of Bosco's little problem, ask what he has for sale. He'll mention a tear gas grenade launcher, which costs $10,000, which you don't have. Pick up a piece of cheese from the display on the right and then go and investigate the Soda Popper on the left. Attempt to go into the bathroom and after Max has been Whizzer will head inside too. Take this opportunity to place the cheese in Whizzer's crate, and he'll be stopped by Bosco's security system when he tries to leave with it.

Dangle Jimmy out of the window
To find the Swiss cheese in Sam & Max, you must dangle Jimmy twice out of the window. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to do it:
First, go to the office and talk to Boscoe. He will tell you that he needs his coffee. Agree to get it for him, and then go to the store and purchase a cup of coffee. Bring the coffee back to Boscoe, and he will give you a pair of pliers in return.
Now, go back to the office and use the pliers to remove the three wires from the window. This will allow you to open the window. Once the wires are removed, open the window and click on Jimmy to pick him up.
With Jimmy in your possession, leave the office and go to the street. Once you're outside, click on Jimmy in your inventory to dangle him out of the window. This will attract the attention of the rats, who will come scurrying out of their holes.
After danging Jimmy out the window the first time, a rat will run into the office and steal the pliers. The rat will then run into the alley behind the office. Go to the alley and look in the trash can to find the pliers, but they are trapped under a brick. Use Jimmy to lift the brick, and then take the pliers.
Now that you have the pliers again, go back to the office and use them to remove the three wires from the window. Open the window and dangle Jimmy out for the second time. This time, a rat will run into the office and steal the block of Swiss cheese that was on the desk.
You have now successfully found the Swiss cheese in Sam & Max by dangling Jimmy out of the window twice.
