The Star Stage was the first Studio C stage to use the Studio C HD system. However, the software was considered obsolete due to frequent glitches and breakdowns during shows. The stage also featured a "You're the Star!" chair with a special camera in front of it, where a cast member would take a photo of the birthday star and display it on the showroom and game room monitors.

The demise of the Star Stage was due to internal controversy involving Robert Gotcher and Jeremy Blaido. Once Robert was fired, Jeremy ordered the show to be removed in 2012, and the props were placed in storage. The Star Stage was replaced by the first Circles of Light stage.
